i received my Jailbird last month in time to go on holiday. i showed it to my wife when we arrived in Spain [i normally used the CB series] she thought it looked very nice and would allow me to stay clean without being allowed out.Normally she kept me locked up for a few days .So she said try it on for a day or so that was nearly 3weeks ago very comfortable ,just need to use a little baby oil on the ring under my balls sometimes when I try to get big .NEVER BEEN LOCKED THIS LONG I dont know what to do with myself!

MM’s Jail Bird arrived yesterday. High Security Screw still on backorder but I am fully secured utilizing an external brass lock.
Been locked in a CB6000s on and off (mostly on) for the past 24 months which I now know was 23 months too long. I was very happy in my CB after I adjusted it properly. Most of the time I barely knew it was there but I did have those sharp pinches every once and a while that would send me wincing to the bathroom for an adjustment. My major concern with the CB was hygine. My wife/KH liked to keep me locked up sometimes for several weeks at a time with no release. Keeping myself clean was challanging.
So with some trepidation I introduced my very vanilla wife to the Mature Metal website back in February. To my surprise she helped me shop for a new device like we were picking out a new dishwasher. We switched me out to the Jailbird the day it arrived. I have been wearing it for six days now, and I must say it is incredible!!! I have been wearing chastity devices since the 1990′s, and this is the most comfortable device I have ever worn. It fits perfect! Thanks for the upfront email exchange to get the size just right. Your concern that the device fit just right, won me over right from the start. First class customer service! The workmanship is also first class! It is a very attractive device to wear. We both like the look of it very much. The bars are just far enough apart to allow my partner to do a bit of teasing, yet I can not achieve an orgasm locked in it. Nor can I achieve a full erection in it. There is a bit of room for growth, which is what we wanted, but not near enough for anything close to a confined full erection. We also gave it the pullout test, and I am unable to get out of it. The security screw is great! No more lock bulge in some clothes. I was a bit nervous about the oval ring, having always worn a round one, but it makes it even more comfy.
We are both fans of my being in long term lockups, and the Jailbird will help make those long periods much easier to endure. I could go on and on, but I think you get the picture. I am on day 6 of a lock up and I couldn’t be happier in my frustration. It didn’t start this way though. When I first got my Jail Bird the ring was too tight and the space was too small. Everything hurt. I tried several times to wear it but it was a disaster. I held onto it for a month and finally sent it back where MM made an 1/8″ larger ring and spacer. I put it on as soon as I received it and I was astonished. It fit perfectly to the point I could not even tell I was wearing it. That lockup was 3 days before my wife needed me. When I got out I was as clean as could be and ready for action. It is nice not needing to spend 5 minutes in the bathroom before sex cleaning old oil, sweat & urine off your penis that collects in a CB-6000. I cannot put into words how cofortable and restrictive this device is for me. Thank you MM for being a great company to work with and for making a great product. GBM

After almost 3 weeks since receiving my jailbird and being locked in it, I am STILL buzzing. We raised the stakes somewhat by adding two or three individual rings under the base ring. These tend to help push everything outward a little more and prolong the frustration when everything gets pumped up. Release is going to be explosive when the time comes. This is such a hot device!

My wife an I have just recently ordered and received the plastic cb3000 and for the most part like it for the first one we bought, but last night she asked how long the cage would last and then said we would replace it every year. When I was looking to buy my first one I saw some of the metal ones that are fitted like the ones you provide. Since she may want to make this a permanent thing I figure go metal and not buy another one. The thing is I work in the construction field and when it is cold out I’m not sure how that is going to work. If anyone has input or has experiance on this please let me know.
I wore mine alpine skiing today in 15 degree weather with no problems. I have also worn it trail running below 32 degrees for more than 10 miles and lap swimming with no issues.
LockedinBoulder…how do you conceal your device while swimming? I lap swim 3x/wk and wear regular board shorts. My swimming is done at work and cannot risk the cage being noticeable.

I usually wear 2 suits, one tight, one loose. The tight one holds it close, the loose one conceals it. The loose one just looks like I’m using a drag suit.
I use it outdoor (incl. skiing) during a cold Russian winter, no problem. On the other hand, I can wear it in hot sauna if I protect it by a pair of jocks or boxers. Do not worry.

Over the last several years, we have tried 4 of the CBx000 devices, the new silicone devices (Bon4, Birdlocked), and some off the shelf metal products. Nothing compares to the Jailbird. This is more comfortable than any of the others and far more secure. It is also simpler than most devices, with only 2 parts and a locking mechanism. In addition, the wearer doesn’t lie awake at night in fear the plastic will split and cut him, like some are known to do.
If you are wondering if you should order or not, stop. Just do it. If you are seriously into chastity, you can’t go wrong with the Jailbird.
I just received my jail bird and it is wonderful but I wanted to share my journey. When I first looked into chastity devices I heard the plastic ones could crack, so I knew I wanted a metal one. The first one I bought had a hinged base ring and would dig into my skin and I knew that it wasn’t going to work long term. Then I bought another one made up of metal rings welded together but that one rusted after a couple weeks of use. I was about to give up then I came across the mature metal website and read about their product. I was a little reluctant to spend $300 more when I had already spent several hundred dollars already on products that didn’t work. I thought the third time is a charm in a make it or break it situation. That was the best money I have ever spent as this product is extremely comforatable and well made. It is like a luxury liner compared to economy item. I ordered the sizing rings then the jailbird and in about 3 weeks it arrived, and I am extremely happy. I understand I have the distinction of being the first to order a second device the quickest (the next day after receiving my first) and I’m so thrilled I did! Anyone want to take my unofficial title? I really like the Watchful Mistress, but my favorite now is the Jail Bird. It’s so comfortable and it isn’t noticeable at all under clothing (unless perhaps going through a metal detector at the airport, which I haven’t tried there or anywhere else). I’ve read other posts and the common thread seems to be that you’ll forget you have it on and I agree, plus you’ll never want to take it off whether it’s specifically for chastity or simply for adornment! I’m already planning on expanding my choices with another design and who knows with devices this great and customer service that is second-to-none, I may just order one of everything!

My previous experience is CB6000 (too cheap – breaks) and The Fort (too heavy & clunky). It appears that with the Jailbird the base ring has a rod sticking forward. When I am erect and the keyholder takes the cage off will I be able to take the base ring off? I know with cock rings, when I am erect they won’t come off. I’m not sure the KH would like the rod pointing forward if she choose to have intercourse?
I am a honored wearer of a custom jailbird that my Goddess had specially made with a few added features, spikes further up towards the head of the cock. The device is wonderful. The Service was beyond excellent. When I ordered the device I made the mistake of ordering it with to small of a space between the ring and the cage, my mistake. Sent it back and had it redone for $10.00 the repair was fast and very professional. complete turn around time was a week, and I was back into it. I highly recommend this device over any of the cbXXXX series. I have used a cb2000, 3000, and 6000s. This is the best. Oh and so easy to keep CLEAN.
The oval ring is wider horazantel. The oval is more comfortable as the gap is more uniformed all the way around. If your size ring is 2″ I start with a 2″ ring the oval it just a little. This way it still has the same inside diameter no matter if it is round or oval.
After having the CB2000 (got rid of it because the pins stuck into me rather than away from me), CB6000 (cage portion is too large for me to be able to have a good nights sleep), and a CB6000s (kept breaking parts of it). Madam and I invested in a Jailbird from mature metal. The fit on it is dam near perfect. With the CB6ks I was able to pull out in the shower with ease. With this Jailbird I have been unsuccessful in my attempt. The weight is not discernible to me. My only “complaint” is that we had to change the lock we were using because it doesn’t fit. Small price to pay for a better device.
Madam enjoys the open bars and being able to touch me through them. Sometimes though that can be painful, not sure why.
Madam Doesn’t like the fact that I am able to pee standing up with it. It takes a bit more work to do though, sometimes its just easier to sit. Standing up is doable though.
Maybe in the future we will get a different one that I can’t stand with.
First I would like to say great service and was delivered on time. I ordered the Jailbird with the secure locking screw. It is very nicely designed and looks great. The fit is great and no discomfort after 4 days of wearing. My wife saw the device after I first placed the cage on my boys and said, “That looks rather permanent.” She immediately took both keys with a wicked smile! The look and feel are great. The weight is just enough to remind you that you have it on but the desing keeps it hidden easily under your clothes.

After almost 2 weeks in the Jailbird, I have found this piece to be the best of any I have had to wear. The custom fit makes it absolutely impossible to get any kind of “satisfaction” apart from being unlocked, and I have found it to be completely secure (as well as completely frustrating). The open design has allowed for easy cleaning, but the overlapping end bars prevent the skin from being pinched. Though pretty much constantly aware of it’s presence, I have found no noticeable restriction of my regular activities, including running and working out. I highly recommend this for the long-term experience. JS
My husband’s new Jailbird arrived on Sept 30th. We locked it on that evening and he has been wearing it ever since (12 days now). Hasn’t even asked to have it unlocked for cleaning. He was in a CB-6000s and this is so much nicer. He says it is more comfortable and it doesn’t get sweaty. I think the steel is so much sexier than plastic and there aren’t any pegs to poke me. Dollyanne is a chastised sissy and she took delivery of her custom jailbird this past February. It has a very small cage–only 1.5″ in length–and dollyanne refers affectionately as the “Dolly”. There is no place else dollyanne could’ve purchased a custom steel chastity device with the quality workmanship, materials, and superior customer service for the price, than at Maturemetal.
The “Dolly” replaced a cb-2000 that dollyanne had worn all last year, and it is far superior to it. Once you’ve been in steel there is no going back! There is really no reason to buy a plastic device when, for just a little more you can get a custom made cage. I was not able to wear other devices overnight without being up all night.. I have no problems in the Jailbird. One of the main reasons is, that it is made to your specifications. I woul also suggest getting the sizing rings. Customer service was very good. You will not be disapointed.
I ordered the Jailbird partly because my wife and I like the style, and partly because being uncircumcised, I need a device I can clean in if I’m going to make good use of it. The jailbird allows me enough room to move and clean, while doing an excellent job of stopping anything naughty going on down there.
The quality of this device is first rate. It is light (considering it’s made of stainless steel), airy, and quite secure. With good measurement and the anti pull out pin I believe this would be a 100% secure device (mine will probably be secured using a PA piercing).
If you’re considering ordering, I would strongly recommend getting the sizing ring kit first. I got oval rings sent out because I was unsure of them, but having played with them and getting a feel for the right size, I was able to order with confidence.
Finally, those familiar with male chastity devices will be aware of what happens at night. The first night I put this device on, I slept right through (and the second night, and the third..). I’ve never slept all night in a plastic device. I think that statement best highlights the differences between a piece of pre moulded plastic, and a custom made stainless steel device. I’m very happy with it.

I was a bit concerned about getting the solid ring on since I have only used split ring designs before, but I had no problem getting it on. Once I had the cage in place, I could immediately tell that this was WAY more comfortable then the plastic devices I have tried before. I have had it on now for about 24 hours and have had only the slightest discomfort. I am sure that will subside as I get used to wearing it.

I recently purchased the Jail Bird and gazed in wonderment at the gleaming stainless steel device that was going to lock my cock up for the rest of my life. Such beautiful workmanship. I took a deep breath and locked it on my cock. Unfortunately, I didn’t measure very well, and it was way to tight and began strangling my scrotum.
